Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

It is 2090 and global conflicts are waged by giant war machinery known as Wanzers. Huffman Island is the location in which there is an Oceania Cooperative Union, (O.C.U.), can be located. as well as the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) The land boundary between the Continental United States (U.C.S.) and Canada is an area that is in high tension.

A O.C.U. reconnaissance platoon led by Captain Royd Clive is tasked to examine the activities of a U.C.S. munitions plant. They’re sprayed by U.C.S. They are ambushed by U.C.S. They are ambushed by Wanzers. This sets off a chain of events that plunge all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Retired from the military Royd sets out to investigate the circumstances surrounding what happened to Karen. He is led closer and closer to the web of conspiracy at the root of the crime and the powers that have orchestrated the incident.

With hundreds of characters to befriend, its mature plot and non-Manichean-based protagonists Front Mission is the standard of the strategic Japanese RPG style, and is now accessible worldwide.
