PlatinumGames’ NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series is a continuation of the spirit and joy of old-fashioned gaming through modern technologies, and the very first game in the series will be Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta uses the same docking and formation techniques as Terra Cresta’s cult shooting game Moon Cresta. It also features the latest “free-form docking technique”. The most famous Yamato, composed of the vessels Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano are able to utilize different types of attack dependent on the way in which the three ships are placed. Docking, splitting, and reorganizing the vessels as necessary is essential for defeating the massive armies of Mandler.
